We were lucky and the weather held our for our first wild camping for 2024
It was a risk, selecting a mid March date for our opening activity weekend but, it worked out and we even had blue sky for most of the day. Our walk out route took us 8 miles over the local Westmorland fells before dropping down into a secluded and quiet valley to set up for the night.
