About the event
Pen-Y-Fan is the highest peak within the Brecon Beacons National park. Thera are a several routes options which take in the summit of Pen-Y-Fan and neighbouring peaks including Corn-Du and longer routes that also take in Fan y Big and Cribyn.
For our winter walk we will be following the 'storey arms' route 4 miles - easy access and generally gentle walk, usually within 2 - 3 hours but in winter this time will increae. This walk starts at the famous Storey Arms Outdoor Centre on the A470 and routes direct via Corn Du (873m) to Pen y Fan (886m) before looping back to the start.
With options to continue  Horseshoe Ridge walk to other peaks such as Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m).
